I’m Sophie – a London-based Personal Trainer.
I’m occupying this little corner of the Internet out of a genuine love of fitness. And I mean actual fitness, in all its sweaty, unglamorous, exhausting yet energising glory. The type of fitness that builds you up and leaves you feeling strong enough to take on the whole world – and win. Because in a world where we’re under constant pressure to look amazing, I want you to feel amazing too.
I specialise in coaching women (including pre/post-natal) who are either new to strength training or looking to transform their workouts for bigger, bolder results. For me, there is nothing more satisfying than watching my clients become stronger, more confident and more empowered week in week out through lifting weights – and witnessing the impact this has on all aspects of their lives.
We train together away from the crowds at a fully-equipped private PT studio by Clapham Junction station. So whether you’re brand new to weights or you’re looking to take your training (and your strength, fitness and confidence) to the next level – you’re in the right place.
Turn fitness into your reset button
In today’s world, we’re on the go, plugged in and switched on 24/7.
Finding time to pause, take a step back, come off of autopilot and give ourselves some headspace is becoming more and more crucial to maintaining our physical and mental wellbeing.
I know what it’s like to feel stuck in a hectic lifestyle. Stressed. Burnt out. Lacking in motivation. Lacking in confidence.
Learning to lift weights was a game changer for me. It gave me focus, space and the chance to switch off for a while – because for the hour I was there with loud music on sweating it out in the gym, it was impossible to worry, stress or even think about anything else! It gave my mind a much-needed break.
And as I started to feel physically fitter and stronger, I began to feel mentally fitter and stronger too. Less uptight. More energised. More motivated.
The mind-body connection is real.

But here’s the thing…
There is a big difference between a fitness routine which energises you and one which piles more stress onto your body, leaving you feeling even more drained. Because if you’re already stressed, going crazy in a HIIT class five times a week isn’t going to help you. That initial endorphin hit might feel like it’s helping, but it’ll be sending your already high cortisol levels through the roof, messing up your hormones and leaving your body stressed and depleted.
It’s time to train smarter.
The right programme for you is one which is carefully balanced for your body and your lifestyle.
One which leaves you feeling more energised than when you walked in.
One which strengthens your body, fires up your fitness levels and progressively enhances your performance – whilst also releasing any built up tension or stress, factoring in optimum rest and recovery phases so you can reset, refocus and restart stronger than before.
This is what will keep you consistently hitting your goals.
TESTIMONIALS
Soph is the best personal trainer! She really helped my mental and physical health during the pandemic. She is friendly, professional, always has a range of equipment and routines, she knows how far to push you so you get the most out of each session. A true gem!
Sophie’s sessions have been a fantastic release and amazingly motivating. She’s always keen to make our time as focused and effective as possible and it goes SO quickly! Sophie listened to all of my goals and aims when we first met and incorporates them into every session. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!
Since working with Sophie I’ve upped my strength and fitness levels, whilst learning correct form and incorporating stretches and exercises into my own weekly routine. To anyone thinking of working with Sophie I’d say go for it! Sophie takes the time to listen to what you want and also ensures you’re challenging yourself but works to your pace too. Sophie is very motivating and supportive towards your fitness goals. My only wish is that we could have done more indoor sessions before lockdown happened!
I had some fantastic sessions with Sophie! She has really helped me with my own self-awareness and at the end of each session I have always felt uplifted and motivated! I have gained more understanding of how exercise benefits my mindset, and have implemented several changes in my life since working with Sophie such as stepping back into fitness again. I felt like I had lost my way but Sophie has helped me to realise how good it makes me feel. My main takeaway from working with Sophie is that anything and everything really is possible. Sophie is living proof! If you want to switch your mindset, focus on feeling positive and letting go of the negatives by incorporating exercise and making your overall wellbeing a priority, Sophie is fantastic! Sophie is very warm and friendly and I would recommend working with her to anyone who is ready to make a change.
