Everyone has to start at the beginning and I know only too well how daunting and challenging it can feel taking that first step. I have struggled with all of the above at some point so, if any of these sound familiar, I can completely relate.

But whilst comfort zones are safe and cosy places to stay, nothing ever grows or changes there!

I’m a member of the Register for Exercise Professionals (REPs) and have a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training, awards in Circuit Instruction, Group Indoor Cycling, Instructing Outdoor Fitness, Sports Conditioning and a Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral – which means I can offer you a wide range of programmes, ideas and inspiration to find what works for you.

personal training

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to anything in life, including exercise. We all have different body types, metabolisms, lifestyles and motivations, which will all respond better to one type of programme over another. I’m a big believer that there is something for everyone in the fitness world – we just need to find what works best for you.

Together, we will develop a programme which is unique to you. It will include a range of different exercises designed to  improve your muscular endurance and strength, cardiovascular fitness and flexibility, as well as your posture, core stability, balance and coordination. It will be challenging, progressive and focused on your goals, but will also be one you actually enjoy!

My 1-2-1 sessions are 1 hour and are based at WE11, a fitness and wellness studio at 29-31 Great Portland Street, Marylebone, London W1W 8QF – a few minutes walk from Oxford Circus.

It doesn’t matter if you’re at the top of your game or at the beginning of your fitness journey – I’ll tailor each session to suit your individual needs and preferences.

Some people may find that training with a friend, family member or colleague can be an even more motivating, fun and appealing way to workout. These sessions will still be personalised and designed so that each individual can train at their own speed, intensity and ability.

classes

I love a group fitness class! It’s what got me hooked in the first place and I still go regularly now. Not only are they fun, motivating and sociable (and never as daunting as you think they’ll be), they are extremely effective and will leave you feeling energised and genuinely glad you showed up!

The Fitness Well

The Fitness Well is a 6-week fitness programme designed to nourish your mind as well as your body. Not only will it help you achieve your physical fitness and strength goals, it also shines a light on the many other benefits exercise offers us – boosting your mood, your energy level and your self-esteem to name a few! Because as a PT, I like to focus on and celebrate what our bodies can DO, how exercise makes us FEEL and the positive impact this can have on other aspects of our life – not just in the gym.

The Fitness Well brings together four key pillars to help improve your fitness and overall wellbeing:

CARDIO – because, endorphins!

STRENGTH – because when we feel physically fitter and stronger, we feel mentally fitter and stronger.

MINDFULNESS – because we all have a tendency to hurtle through life at a rate of knots.

CONNECTION – because being around like-minded people is good for our wellbeing.

The Fitness Well incorporates private consultations, group fitness classes, one-to-one PT sessions, mindfulness techniques, as well as tons of support and motivation along the way! We’ve also teamed up with a variety of amazing brands, such as Tenzing, Wheybox, Bounce, Caleno, YES! snacks and Made By Coopers, who will be keeping us energised, nourished, fuelled and hydrated along the way!
